Spiritual Resources
The following resources are offered for serious consideration of the origin and destiny of man. In fact, many of these links will take you to Bible study materials that are definitely not for beginners.

Several of the following links are to free e-Books. They are complete, full-length, unedited books (in Adobe .pdf files), ready to study or print.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you as you search for the real meaning of life...and death.

More titles will be added as they become available, but you are encouraged to go to the following sites for much more material than can be included in this list.

Evidences for Faith, Creation/Evolution

Apologetics Press

Faithful Churches

AZ, Phoenix -- Westside church

In particular, check out this page, which contains links to a number of excellent Bible studies on many different subjects--some of which are definitely NOT for the faint of heart--including several by local evangelist and elder, Maurice Barnett.  Links on Calvinism and substitutionary atonement, as well as Barnett's studies on the nature of the Lord's supper are especially valuable. Pack a lunch before you go to this site, because you'll be there for a long time.

FL, Tallahassee -- Centerville Road church

The elders of the Centerville Road church (including Gene Taylor, also a local evangelist) have put together a very excellent site of original materials.  If you need Bible Study outlines or study guides, this site is one of the best!

KY, London -- Mill Street church

A wonderful group of loving and faithful saints.  Be sure to check out their gospel singing, led by (if my hearing has correctly identified the voice) Roger Bruner.

TX, Spring -- Kleinwood Church

For gospel music, be sure to check out the Annual Gospel Singing at the Kleinwood church. Hundreds of songs to download at no cost!

TX, Irving -- Westside Church

The Interactive Bible, by Steve Rudd, is Satan's worst enemy. You will love it--or hate it, depending on your respect for the Word of God.

If you want to be challenged on many themes or to discover what the scriptures actually teach, without denominational bias, this is the site you need!  But, be sure you have plenty of time, because this site has (literally) dozens of pathways and destinations for study.

Note from RB: I know Jeff Smelser, personally.  I have found him to be a careful student and teacher of Greek, both from his reputation among Greek students and from personal experience in hearing him teach.

While I disagree with Jeff on some matters of interpretation or exegesis, I have confidence that your Greek studies with Jeff will make you a better Bible student.

The Unique Church

There are LOTS of churches in the world, right?  But, what if ALL of them were less than what God would have them to be? What if it could be seen that they are less than--yet far more--than what Christ established and called, "...My church" (Bible/New Testament in Matthew 16:18)?  What if there is a truly undenominational alternative to the religious division in the world?

Women

Female Leadership in the Church

Many people are troubled at the position that female leadership is not authorized in scripture.  This study is a carefully researched and well-written reply to those who attempt to place women in roles of leadership that God has not defined for them.

However, in one respect, Dave Miller has entirely missed the mark, denying to qualified and spiritual woman one of the specific areas of service God has authorized.

Here is my respectful reply to Dave's error on Deaconesses.

This need not be a matter of question, dispute or division among people who are committed to the New Testament pattern.
