Let us pray:

 

“Dear Father in Heaven, we humbly come before you this morning to thank you for this day and for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us.  Most of all, we thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, who was born on this earth and was crucified on that cruel cross on Mt. Calvary so that we would all have the hope of eternal salvation.  Now Father, as we partake of this loaf, which symbolizes the body of Christ on that cross, we pray that we do so in a manner that is both pleasing and acceptable unto you. These things we pray for in the blessed and holy name of Jesus Christ - Amen.

Prayer for the Fruit of the Vine

As the Lord’s Supper continues, will you please bow your heads with me as we again go to our Father in prayer.

 

Dear Heavenly Father, once again we bow our heads in prayer to thank you for your love for us, a love that is so strong that you allowed your only son to die on a cross on Mt. Calvary so that we would have the hope for eternal salvation.  Now, as we partake of this fruit of the vine, which symbolizes the blood that was shed by Christ, we pray that we do so in a manner that is pleasing and acceptable to you.  These things we pray for in the name of our blessed savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer Before Contribution for the Saints

We, as members of this church, have another obligation and that is to give back to the Lord a portion of that which he has so generously provided to us.  Please bow your heads with me as we once again go to our Father in prayer.

 

Dear Father in Heaven, we come before you again to thank you for all that you do for us for we know that everything we are and everything we have is because of you and your love for us.  Now Father, we pray that each of us will carefully look within his or her own mind and heart and joyfully return to you a portion of that which you have so generously provided to us.  Once again, we pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
