News of the Mountain View Members
Elaine Anderson

Members of the Mountain View church are called upon to remember sister Elaine Anderson,
who is continuing her chemotherapy for lymphoma complicated by leukemia. This is a
deadly combination that has already taken a huge emotional toll on this precious and
faithful saint. Her 17-year old son also needs your prayers, as she is the only
family he has left.
Please take the needs of the Anderson family before the Lord in prayer.

In just a couple of months (March), sister Rowe will mark the 2-year
"anniversary" of her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. She is continuing her
chemotherapy and has shown remarkable resilience in the face of this deadly disease.
Her doctors continue to be amazed that she has survived this inoperable tumor.
The margins of her tumor have continued to grow and there is some sign of kidney
involvement, but she remains strong in the Lord and in the faith of Jesus Christ.
What a remarkable struggle this precious lady has fought! Her continued faith and
immense desire to be with the saints on the Lord's day is a stalwart example to all of us.
Also, please remember to lift up the needs of brother Larry Rowe, as he stands beside
his wife of 62 years (!) in this battle. Together, they have faced many trials over
more than 60 years; their two sons are very good at staying in touch with them and caring
for their needs, but prayers are always welcome.
